Not Samba

I usually make it a point to feature blogs that have relatively LOTS of content to offer its readers already. I have to say that I am making an exception in this case. Why? I find the focus of Not Samba to be very interesting, and I am hoping that it will attract more readers and that the blogger will be more motivated to post more articles!

This blog is all about Brazilian music. Like many who are ill-informed, I know only the slightest bit about this kind of music. Apparently, Brazil has more to offer than samba – and that is what this blog wants the rest of the world to know! If you are into Brazilian culture, then you should visit this blog and ask the blogger for more!

KELCHENSX

Don’t you sometimes feel like taking a peek into what another person’s life is like? I like people watching. Lately, I have been sitting at the “park” in the afternoons, just relaxing and letting my mind float. There are a few people here and there, and thinking about what their lives may be is an interesting (if wasteful) way to pass time.

Another way by which we can have a glimpse into other people’s lives is through their blogs, and personal blogs are a great way to do that! KELCHENSX is the personal blog of a guy from Singapore, and he infuses humor into his posts neatly. Of course, you’ll still read about mundane things, but you just might enjoy it anyway. Why don’t you take a look for yourself?

My Agent Leticia

Looking to buy a house? Or maybe you are looking to sell your house. Whichever applies to you, if you live in the southern California area, you might be interested in looking at My Agent Leticia. It is the blog of (obviously) a real estate agency catering to the needs of those in southern California.

The blog is quite comprehensive, with information on properties for sale in the area. Those who are looking to sell their property can also pick up useful information to make the most of their endeavors. More than listings, though, the blog offers practical advice in the areas of financing, avoiding foreclosures, and other similar topics. Of course, they also promote their services, which you just might find useful.

The Insight Blog

Businesses and social media are quickly coming together and partnering up. It is not such a surprise, as social media has shown just how much potential it has to help businesses – big and small – to expand their reach. If you are into these things, I suggest taking a look at The Insight Blog, which is maintained by Jim Webster. With the blog, he aims to provide information on conducting business in this digital world and business in general as well. He seems very knowledgeable and the blog is well-designed and written. This makes for easy reading and easy picking out of the information that is relevant to the readers. I think that small businesses in particular will benefit a lot from subscribing to this blog.

Remember The Words

Remember what words? Human beings place great stock in the power of words. We have so many sayings and clichés that we encounter on a daily basis. For Christians, though, there is nothing more powerful than the words that come from God; the words written in the Bible. As such, meditating on God’s word is an inherent part of the Christian life.

Remember the Words is a blog that offers meditations and devotions that people can use to learn more about God. It also offers a lot of insights, again Bible-based, that can help people to apply spiritual principles to their daily lives. One good thing about this blog is that it is not all theory – there is a lot of practical information to be found here.
