Workers in many countries across the world rely on their unions to see to their safety and needs.  It is a fact, however, that not everyone and not all countries see eye to eye when it comes to union issues.  In the United States, though, there is a strong union culture and workers understand the need for and importance of unions.

There are many resources online for people who are interested in learning more about unions and one site that I would recommend is Information for Union Members.  They present a lot of information relating to labor topics.  From legal matters to news in general, you can find these things in this blog.
