I don’t really think that I am a religious person, but I would like to think that I am in touch with my spiritual side. I grew up in the Christian faith and I do get a lot of strength and inspiration from reconnecting with it. Just the other day, while I was waiting for my turn at the doctor’s office, I realized just how much listening to devotions and spiritual musings help me.
Blogs like Washed By Water Through The Word could help when one needs such spiritual nourishment. Now I know that this is not for everyone, but those who share the same faith, or are at least open to reading about Christianity and its tenets, will certainly appreciate this blog. The blog is very text heavy but the insights are worth it.

Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed and all such starters of religion were no more connected to God than anyother human being. They were as afraid to die jsut as the rest of us often are and through this fear tried to make some sense out of death while still in this world….we are born, we live, we die and we become spirit…no religion necessary…aho
Why do you think this? How do you know? What is your basis?
Religion is very necessary in our lives, based on what religion we choose and who we accept as God is the most important decision we will make. After death when we become spirit we will either spend eternity in heaven or hell. ( 1 John 5:11-13) ” And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life; whoever does not have his Son does not have life.” So if you accept Jesus you will have eternal life, if you don’t you don’t have life (eternal life with God)
