Managing a team or a business is no mean feat. It takes a lot out of the person doing the managing. Some employees might see their managers or bosses in a different light, but at the end of the day, they just might not fully understand the weight of the responsibility that lies on the higher up’s shoulders. Perhaps one of the biggest issues that managers face is how to cut back on costs.

I couldn’t agree more with people not understanding their managers roles. I sell engines for a living, so maybe I have a different mindset with my team, but they seem to think the managers always live on easy street. As the owner, I can’t stress enough how much more responsibility is weighted on your shoulders. You have your self and your employees futures to worry about, as an employee you just have to worry about number one. In this economy small business owners are working harder than ever to stay head above water.
