I would like to explain shayari in my own words, may there are large number of people who would like to know definition of shayari in simple words.
So what is shayari basically?
Urdu Poetry or Shaayaree, essentially comprises couplet, or Sher. The plural for Sher is Ashaar. The form ghazal is a collection of mulitiple ashaar – each of which should convey a complete thought without any reference to other shayari of the same ghazal. In fact, though belonging to the same ghazal, the different ashaar therein can have completely different meaning and tone relative to one another.
Shayari is a very unique and ecstatic poetic language used to express feelings and desires in very less and heart touching words. It is basically expression of ones feelings and desire.

Shayarism as in Poetism, the word definitely means I’m going to post a few shayaries & poems here on this blog.
I wrote these shayaries based on various situation of life one can be in. Few are based on personal life experinece while the others have been written on general subjects.
I like reading and ocassionally writing poems. Hence sharing a few with you guys. Hope you like them.
