Stones in the Road is a joint effort of two women: Suzanne and Susan. They describe the experience as involving “two women, two diseases and how we cope“.

This blog is amazing in so many ways, not in the least because it highlights the human spirit – how people bond with each other, and how strong that bond can be. Suz lives in Australia, while Sus is based in the UK. Both have been diagnosed with a serious condition – Suz with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Sus with Dermatomyositis (an autoimmune disease).

The two have been communicating for some time, and they have found that they have quite a lot in common. Aside from struggling with health conditions, they also both have grownup daughters and white dogs!

In all seriousness, this blog is a testament to how friendship crosses cultures and borders. Whether you are male or female, whether you’re healthy or ill, there is one thing I am sure of: you will find some inspiration from this blog.
