Air And Aqua

What are the most important resources that we have? There is no doubt about it – water and air are the two most important things. Although more and more people are paying attention to the environment these days, it still surprises me how some can totally disregard the effects of their actions on their surroundings. I suppose it’s just a simple case of selfishness and shortsightedness.

If you pride yourself on NOT being selfish or shortsighted when it comes to the environment – the water and the air being part of that, then you might find the blog Air and Aqua interesting. It is actually the companion blog of the main web site of the company, which sells air and water purification systems. While you might think that there is an ulterior motive to the blog (and there probably is), the information that you can find is very very useful.

Do you consider yourself a citizen of the earth? You know, one who lives not only to further himself but takes into consideration other people, other nations, and his surroundings in general. If you are the type of person who likes reading up on social issues and similar topics, then Earthly Happenings should be on your daily reading list.

This blog’s tagline, “discussing quality of life, social responsibility, equal rights, education, and environmental and economic sustainability” certainly lives up to its content. You can expect posts on politics, TV news, workplace issues, and other topics to be discussed. Of course, you can always join in in the discussion by leaving comments. It really is full of insights. Whether or not you agree with the blogger’s point of view is up to you.

The LED Lighting Blog

The environment is something that we have been paying more attention to these past few years.  I think that more people have turned their eyes on the saving and preserving of the environment more in the past 5 years than in the past decades combined.  I suppose that this is because of the fact that the results of our neglect are finally becoming felt by many.

One aspect of helping the environment is saving power and one way of saving power is by using more efficient lighting.  This is the idea behind The LED Lighting Blog.  For those who are lost, LED stands for light emitting diode.  These things are much more power efficient and have a lot of potential.  To find out more, I suggest that you visit the blog.

Green Base

Just several days ago, we celebrated Earth Day.  All over the world and all over the blogosphere, people participated in activities to celebrate our planet, our home.  I suppose that for some people, this is only normally done during special occasions (such as Earth Day).  Personally, though, I think that attention should be given to this issue every single day – especially with what we are facing right now.  That is why I thought I’d feature this blog, Green Base, which focuses on the “greening habits of the music industry.”  I didn’t know there was such a movement but I am glad to have heard about this blog.  Music enthusiasts, head on over to this blog and see what you can do!

2inspire.us

Each person is unique and each one of us finds inspiration in different things.  Yet there are a lot of commonalities where by many people find inspiration as well.  This blog, 2inspire.us, is quite effective in bringing together pieces of news from all over the world with the overall aim of striking a sense of hope and inspiration from its readers.  From business to technology to health to justice to education – this blog seems to cover it all.  It is much like reading a news site but with a big difference – the topics are well-chosen and written to inspire and not merely to present the news.  It is a refreshing change.
