Just several days ago, we celebrated Earth Day. All over the world and all over the blogosphere, people participated in activities to celebrate our planet, our home. I suppose that for some people, this is only normally done during special occasions (such as Earth Day). Personally, though, I think that attention should be given to this issue every single day – especially with what we are facing right now. That is why I thought I’d feature this blog, Green Base, which focuses on the “greening habits of the music industry.” I didn’t know there was such a movement but I am glad to have heard about this blog. Music enthusiasts, head on over to this blog and see what you can do!

Each person is unique and each one of us finds inspiration in different things. Yet there are a lot of commonalities where by many people find inspiration as well. This blog, 2inspire.us, is quite effective in bringing together pieces of news from all over the world with the overall aim of striking a sense of hope and inspiration from its readers. From business to technology to health to justice to education – this blog seems to cover it all. It is much like reading a news site but with a big difference – the topics are well-chosen and written to inspire and not merely to present the news. It is a refreshing change.

If you are into ecological conservation, then you would most likely be interested in The Conservation Report, which, according to its subheading,
“…presents the latest environmental news and comment from a moderate perspective. From air pollution to zoonotic diseases and everything else in between.”
Indeed, The Conservation Report contains lots of interesting ecological news and even pictures related to environmental conservation that any earth-saving crusader cannot afford to miss. Just watch out for the messy layout and glaring red-colored font on some posts, if it’s not your thing.

There has never been a better time for us humans to be more aware of the state of the environment than now. The effects of pollution and other human activities have been taking their toll on the earth and we are starting to feel these effects. It is not too late to take action, though, and in our own little ways, we can help the environment out. Greensense is one of the ways by which we can all contribute to the saving of the environment. A social networking-blogging site, Greensense provides information about ways to help the environment and aims to encourage everyone to do their share.

Green Unlimited is a blog of:
“Three sisters talking about the latest green products, environmental news, and also about the steps we take in living greener lifestyles.”
While I certainly do not have a thing of rabid proportions for “the green lifestyle,” I do try to help out where I can. I segregate (but toss it along with the other garbage anyway; our dorm does not segregate, sorry.
), I bought a reusable bag for groceries because I think I have more than enough of plastic bags in stock in my room as garbage baggies here, and I certainly do not toss my trash just anywhere 80% of the time, at the very least. But never have I seen three sisters as passionate for the environment as these three.
Wanna catch the fire for a greener earth and a patched-up ozone layer? Hop on over to Green Unlimited.
