Playing around in the kitchen is one of my favorite past times, especially on the weekend.  There is nothing more relaxing and exciting at the same time than puttering around in the kitchen, either trying out new recipes or making tried and tested ones.  For people who are always on the lookout for new recipes from different parts of the world, Chefs at Large is one place to visit.  The blog of Chefs Lucas and Salome, Chefs at Large offers a good number of recipes.  The blog is relatively new though, so expect more updates in the future.

I believe that one of the things that any adult needs to survive on his own is some knowledge in the kitchen.  His skills do not have to be fancy – basic cooking skills should be enough.  And there is really no excuse for anyone when it comes to learning how to cook.  With all the information available on the Internet today, anyone can learn how to come up with the most basic dishes.  Accent Recipes is one blog that offers countless dishes that most anyone can whip up in his kitchen.  There is a lot to choose from and many of them are quite simple to follow.

Healthy Burritos?

Burritos, Enchiladas, and Pizza.

Sound yummy and sinful? What if I tell you that they’re actually healthy after all?

Cedarlane Natural Foods has its own network and fanbase for people who just looooove those healthy Enchiladas.

Made of all-organic ingredients, if you are too busy to grab a handful of beans to bake yourself, and if you’re tired of your bland 15-minute boiled vegetables and daily dose of fried sin, I mean, fried chicken, then amble over to Cedarlane Natural Foods’ Cedarlaneoholics blog, and see for yourself whether there may well be a better alternative to your old, bland, food lifestyle.

Fruplosion: Yummy Website

Valentine’s hangover, anyone? :p

Moving on, I’ve been wondering if I’d ever stumble across a food/drink blog for quite some time now, and when I saw this in my queue, I decided it’s the food/drink blog I’ve wanted to feature.

The main site Sanjay sent in, Fruplosion.com, is a flash-based site featuring the products of Fruplosion. Though I certainly wished they had included the recipes, the clickable icons and the mouthwatering eye candy got me stoked enough to want to make myself a smoothie too.

The blog itself, however, was a minor let-down. There was only one post. However, to make up for it, the post was rather long and highly informative.

The background is pink, though in a shade I dislike. (I just had to say that. :p)

I like the main website much, much more. :p
