Ordinary Recipes Made Gourmet

Are you getting tired of making the same dishes over and over again? I love cooking and I normally try something new every now and then. There are times, however, when I simply fall into a rut and need something inspiring to whip up a new dish.

If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, Ordinary Recipes Made Gourmet might just be able to help you out. This blog offers excellent tips and recipes that you may not have thought about and when you read those recipes, you’ll say to yourself “Now why didn’t I think about that?”

It also has a link to an online store where you can find some pretty good deals on stuff that you can use in the kitchen. A pretty good blog for foodies, all in all.

Portland Taps

What do you look forward to the most after a long hard day at work? While I am positive that I will get a host of various answers to that question, I am also fairly certain that a bottle of ice cold beer will be at the top of the list.

If you are one of the people who answered “beer!” and you live somewhere in Portland, then you will love this blog: Portland Taps. Maine beers and Maine bars – you’ll get all the info you need on these in this blog. The blog has been undergoing some changes lately, so don’t be surprised if, at first, you think it doesn’t have much to offer. Just click on the tabs on the top of the page and you’ll see otherwise.

The Wine Twit

Wine is something that you acquire a taste for, but once you get to like it, you will find yourself wanting it more and more. I used to not really like wine, but just like any other wine lover, it became part of my drinking routine.

For those of you who have not yet discovered the wonderful world of wine, I highly suggest visiting the Wine Twit. It is a relatively new blog, with only a handful of posts to boast of, but it seems to be off to a good start. I think that even those who already know much about wine will find the information contained in the blog useful and interesting. My only wish is for the blogger to post more often.

I have a sweet tooth, everyone knows that.  I can turn down food – sometimes – but when it comes to dessert, I know that there is always a little extra room inside of me.  From chocolate to ice cream to tarts to cupcakes – ahhh, just thinking about this kind of food is making my mouth water!
