Dating has always been one of the most popular topics for many people. It is true that it has not always been as widespread in other countries – especially in the East as compared to the West. Today, however, dating is prevalent all over the world and it comes in many forms as well! From speed dating to online dating, an “available” person can take his or her pick. Of course, dating involves romance as well as quirks that only relationships can bring about. Laugh about your funny dates and pick up some good tips as well at Laugh Date, a blog about dating disasters and other related stuff. It is relatively new, so do not expect a lot of content as of yet.

The past week has been a very stressful one at work for me and I am sure that many of you probably had very similar experiences. When I am faced with this kind of situation, there is nothing more I would like to do during the weekend than to stay at home and recharge – well, maybe going to the beach (but that is not always possible). Anyway, here I am doing exactly that and enjoying some funny cartoons at the blog A Place For Fun. Some of the content is perhaps better for the younger generation but that does not keep the smiles away from my face.

Someone once said that being a parent is the best job in the world – despite probably being the hardest as well. Not everyone has had the chance to try out this job and not everyone will, but for those who are parents (or looking to be parents), any kind of input from those in the know is much appreciated. For the most part, parenting is about learning things on your own and getting support from others who have had the same experience. PunkKittyDiddy is a blog which showcases the life of a new parent and as such brings a totally refreshing view. Of course, there are other things totally unrelated to parenthood that any reader just might find amusing.

It amazed me how long it took for me to get the bat joke. It must have been a full 10 seconds. Or was it 20? I think I laughed at my dense-ness more than I did at the joke. :p
In any case, 1 Joke a Day is all about jokes: great, small, and altogether funny. If you need a bit of laughter to lighten up your day, I think this blog is safe for work, if your office’s firewall would allow it.
Just watch out for the “Signs on a Bus” and the “Sharing” jokes. I didn’t know whether to laugh or furrow my brows. :p

Most of disgruntled employees surely would love to pour sweetly hot coffee on the noggins of their bosses, I’m sure. But beyond shoving the sickening smell of corned beef in their bosses’ smug noses and making these feel the misery of the cramped cubicle, there are days when misery just loves company.
If you are in for some good-natured boss- and job-shredding, the Disgruntled Employee Handbook will allow you to live vicariously through the Robbie Hyman’s gripes and cubicle-bashing drama.
A little negativity could be funny on some days. Just make sure you get a dose of Happy when you’re done.
