It amazed me how long it took for me to get the bat joke. It must have been a full 10 seconds. Or was it 20? I think I laughed at my dense-ness more than I did at the joke. :p
In any case, 1 Joke a Day is all about jokes: great, small, and altogether funny. If you need a bit of laughter to lighten up your day, I think this blog is safe for work, if your office’s firewall would allow it.
Just watch out for the “Signs on a Bus” and the “Sharing” jokes. I didn’t know whether to laugh or furrow my brows. :p

Most of disgruntled employees surely would love to pour sweetly hot coffee on the noggins of their bosses, I’m sure. But beyond shoving the sickening smell of corned beef in their bosses’ smug noses and making these feel the misery of the cramped cubicle, there are days when misery just loves company.
If you are in for some good-natured boss- and job-shredding, the Disgruntled Employee Handbook will allow you to live vicariously through the Robbie Hyman’s gripes and cubicle-bashing drama.
A little negativity could be funny on some days. Just make sure you get a dose of Happy when you’re done.

Yeah, even if it took me ten seconds to figure out that I can’t figure him out, Merlyn Trey Hunter’s Truth to Power: Dissent into Gladness, a satire blog was still pretty funny, even though I can’t figure out why I found it funny. :p
Since today is a special day for me and my fiancé, so I’ll do something special: a Top Ten of the blogs I’ve reviewed so far.

Fashion Geek comments on fashion trends and shopping habits of New Yorkers with noteworthy style. We are not models, we do not schmooze at Diane Von Furstenberg’s house (although we wouldn’t say no if asked), and we do not have trust funds with which to buy expensive clothing. We do love good fashion wherever it appears and aren’t afraid to point out fashion faux pas. The blog is run by editors and writers from Citysearch.com in New York.
