Children and women are some of the most vulnerable groups of people today. Don’t get me wrong – I am all for empowerment of all individuals – but I really think that we cannot discount the fact that children, especially, are more prone to abuse and neglect. It is thus a pleasure for me to feature the blog Foreign Policy Association: Children. Behind this blog is Cassandra Clifford, a non-profit freelancer who is working hard to put a stop to human trafficking. She fills the pages of the blog with so much relevant information. It is a must visit for anyone who declares that he/she has social morals.

Each person is unique and each one of us finds inspiration in different things. Yet there are a lot of commonalities where by many people find inspiration as well. This blog, 2inspire.us, is quite effective in bringing together pieces of news from all over the world with the overall aim of striking a sense of hope and inspiration from its readers. From business to technology to health to justice to education – this blog seems to cover it all. It is much like reading a news site but with a big difference – the topics are well-chosen and written to inspire and not merely to present the news. It is a refreshing change.

We all search for peace and quiet at certain moments in our lives. When the going gets rough, the tough gets going – this is true, but it is also true that even the toughest need some sort of alone time to get his strength up. I like how Sanctuary of Stillness offers a chance to experience tranquility and a sense of calm with the use of technology. These days, technology can sometimes become an additional clutter in our lives. This blog offers a refreshing use of technology with its serene art and poetry. You should try visiting it when your nerves become frayed – it will do you some good.

Have you ever pondered on your life and your faith? I’ll go out on a limb and make a generalization – most of us have, maybe some more than others. It is human nature to think about his spirituality and how he can make his life more meaningful. It is also human nature to search for something that can fill that void in his life. If you are still seeking, you might want to visit Sunshine Foundation, a blog that serves as a guide to non duality-spirituality. It is actually the blog of Nigel Watts, the author of the book “Fill Your Hole.” While it certainly might not appeal to everyone, it does interesting insights for those who are seeking.

If you pay attention to current books that are making it big in the market today, you will notice that a lot of them have to do with self-improvement. It seems that over the years, people all over the world are become more and more aware of their inner potential and authors are trying to help people become even more aware of these things. The self-improvement movement is not limited to print media – it has permeated other media sources such as the Internet. Routes to Self Improvement is one example – a blog that covers diverse topics including motivation, self esteem, and the like. This blog is actually a companion to the main web site, from which you can learn a lot of things for your own development.
