Summer is still a bit far away for people in the West but for many others, it is perennially summer. And why not? With travel being as easy as taking candy from a baby, you can always hop on a plane or a car and get to a destination where you can bask in the sun. And for those who have, let’s say problems when it comes to wearing something sexy – bikinis, swimwear, or what not, here is the perfect read for you.
Bikini Attitude helps you face your fears – unfounded or well founded. It gives you techniques and provides help for perception changes that will give you the confidence that you need in order to feel comfortable in your own skin. We might not all be as sexy as Playboy bunnies or Guess models, but we do have our own right to be happy with what we have!

I think that today’s generation has not been taught the value of respecting their elders enough. I have seen so many youths and children who, while not being outrightly disrespectful, do not seem to place their elders – especially veterans – in high regard.
Speaking of veterans, I read a submission email today about a blog called Veteran Owned Business. It is basically a directory which features businesses which are owned and run by veterans. It also features other entities which offer services to veterans.
I think that blogs like these should be promoted – it might be of little help but every little bit counts, in my opinion. If you know someone who is a veteran, do let them know about this blog as I am sure they will find it useful.

Spirituality is something that we should all be concerned about. These days, we tend to get all caught up in our busy schedules. Oftentimes, we overlook our spiritual side. Now this is really my own opinion as I know that there are people who do not put much weight on spirituality. However, if you are interested in these things, you might want to pay a visit to We Are All One, a blog about enlightenment. From the posts that I have read, it leans towards Eastern philosophies. I am not saying that it is the end all be all of spirituality but you do get tons of insight.

I like watching the news on TV. However, it seems that every time I watch the news lately, all I see is violence, gore, and in general, bad news. Sometimes it makes me wonder what is happening in the world. All this is enough to make one lose hope and become jaded.
Until I ran across the blog The Napkin Dad.
It is really very simple. A dad used to be jobless. He had marital issues. He drew cartoons on his daughter’s lunchbox napkins to pass time all the while thinking that they were being thrown away. A year later, on Father’s Day, his daughters gave him a present – all the napkins that he had drawn on in the past year. Now isn’t that sweet?

Children and women are some of the most vulnerable groups of people today. Don’t get me wrong – I am all for empowerment of all individuals – but I really think that we cannot discount the fact that children, especially, are more prone to abuse and neglect. It is thus a pleasure for me to feature the blog Foreign Policy Association: Children. Behind this blog is Cassandra Clifford, a non-profit freelancer who is working hard to put a stop to human trafficking. She fills the pages of the blog with so much relevant information. It is a must visit for anyone who declares that he/she has social morals.
