Search engines play a vital role in cyberworld. Without them, a lot of people would be lost as to how to find web sites that they need for information. Search engines aggregate content like and serve as portals for information like no other web sites can.

While there are several search engines that dominate the Internet, there are also a lot of other search engines that can be used, especially by users of different nations. Totul is a great example of such a search engine. Based in Moldova, this search engine offers news and other information from all over the world, with a special focus on Moldova. It has options to use the site as one’s home page, and it contains tons of information at a click of the mouse.

In order to understand the present and get a glimpse of the future, we need to look back and study history. While not everyone is into history, no one can deny how important it is to recognize the past. Some nations’ histories are more colorful than others; and I have to admit that Britain’s history is one of these.

Historical Britain Blog is the perfect place to get some interesting reading about what happened in the distant past in this part of the world. Stories about people and places are presented in a conversational manner – definitely NOT a boring historical text book! Find out about pieces of history that you might not have heard of. You’ll probably get hooked on the history of Britain after a visit to this blog.

I usually make it a point to feature blogs that have relatively LOTS of content to offer its readers already. I have to say that I am making an exception in this case. Why? I find the focus of Not Samba to be very interesting, and I am hoping that it will attract more readers and that the blogger will be more motivated to post more articles!

This blog is all about Brazilian music. Like many who are ill-informed, I know only the slightest bit about this kind of music. Apparently, Brazil has more to offer than samba – and that is what this blog wants the rest of the world to know! If you are into Brazilian culture, then you should visit this blog and ask the blogger for more!

The music scene is an ever changing landscape. For the average person, music is what he hears on the radio or over the Internet; but unknown to many, there is a rich and thriving musical scene that may not reach the mainstream. For those who may not have discovered this yet, you may want to visit blogs such as Lu Wan Rock.

This blog is maintained by a professional “foreign” musician based in Shanghai, China. You may not know it, but the local music scene is quite exciting in China and other Asian countries. If you are located in this part of the world, or you are planning to drop by any time soon, then this blog might prove to be useful. Give it a try!

Doing good deeds is something that not everyone pays attention to. Well, we may all talk about charities and charitable work, especially in times of calamities, but we have to face the fact that not all of us make it a point to engage in these activities on a regular basis.

If you are looking for inspiration, or you want to take part in doing your part, you might want to visit Heaven’s Family, the blog of a charitable organization that extends a helping hand to those in need. Heaven’s Family is a spiritual organization that seeks to make a difference in the real world. In their blog, they highlight some of their activities – on top of what they publish in their newsletter. Whether you want to help, or you just want to know more about them, their blog is a good place to start.

Have you ever dreamed of packing up your bags and leaving for another country for good? A lot of people from western countries – Europe and America – seem to favor this idea. They tend to pick an Asian country and spend the rest of their lives there.

Jan, a Dutchman, is one of them. He has decided to settle down in the Philippines and share his experiences with the rest of the world through his blog, Expat in the Philippines. You can read about the wonderful culture of this country as seen from a foreigner’s point of view. You can also read about various events and tips that an expat would find very useful. The texts are relatively short and there are a few photos here and there – I would suggest more pics, perhaps. Overall, though, it is a good read, especially for those who are interested in the country.

Dating is a concept that many countries in the East used to be unfamiliar with. Truth be told, I think that dating is a Western concept. However, with the advent of technology, the world has become a much smaller place, and ideas and behaviors have spread from one country to another very quickly.

With regard to dating, this activity has taken on a new twist, thanks to the Internet. People can now communicate and interact with one another despite geographic boundaries. That is the driving force behind the blog International Dating & Foreign Women Frankly Discussed And Controversially Revealed.

Quite a mouthful for a blog title, huh? Well there is a lot that you can read in this blog and I found many of the posts quite interesting. One thing I noticed is that it is geared mainly towards men – just take a look at the title and you’ll have a glimpse of what I mean.

Are you from the UK? Do you know someone from there? If you answered yes to either question, then I have a blog suggestion for you. UK Office Direct is the blog of one of the leading office supplies companies in the UK. In the blog, they feature various products that the company carries. What interested me was the fact that they feature products and offer promo codes to boot! And I am sure you know what promo codes mean – big time savings!

I am not from the UK but I am sure that my friends from over there would appreciate being given the heads up on this blog. You should go ahead and spread the word as well. Who knows, something similar just might crop up in our own respective parts of the world.

Economies and markets may be down right now but for those who have some extra cash to burn, it could be a good thing. One of the industries highly affected by economic problems is the real estate industry. As such, there is no better time to learn more about everything related to real estate than right now. Whether you are thinking of buying or selling a piece of property, information is always important. The Real Estate Blogger talks about everything real estate – from buying to selling to mortgage and more. It is a good place to find practical information on real estate issues, especially for those residing in Canada.
