Sleepy Tot

Aren’t all tots sleepy all the time? Apparently not! My 3-year-old nephew used to sleep all the time but now, it seems as if he is on a perpetual dose of high energy. Anyhow, this makes me think that I really am NOT ready for a baby of my own. But for those of you who are mothers, this blog called Sleepy Tot will be very useful.

It is actually the partner blog of the main web site for a product of the same name. It is an award-winning blanket/comforter that will surely make for a good sleep. The blog contains more info than selling points, though. It is full of advice and insights that will, hopefully, make being a mother to a tot a much easier job.

Trials Of Parenthood

Parenting is a topic that will never get old.  After all, babies will always be born all over the world.  There is no handbook on how to raise children and be excellent parents but we can only look up to the experience of others and hopefully learn from them. Parenting blogs abound on the Internet and it is up to us to find lessons in the experiences of others.

One such parenting blog that is worth visiting is Trials of Parenthood.  This is the blog of a 30 something mom who works full time as a social worker.  If you are a parent who is finding it a trial to be a parent and a full time worker at the same time, then this blog will help you a lot.  There is not much by way of content as of yet but it does look promising.

Safe Tots UK

Children are a gift from God and they always seem to have a way to make even the hardest of hearts melt.  They are certainly cute as buttons but they are also prone to injuries and danger as they cannot really fend for themselves.  That is why parents have to always be vigilant when it comes to the safety of babies and toddlers.

There are no clear and cut rules as to how to take care of babies and toddlers but we can find tips and guidelines with regard to rearing children.  One very informative site that I would recommend is the blog of Safe Tots UK.  It is focused mainly on younger kids and provides a lot of practical tips on how to keep these little angels safe in different situations.

The Daily Blonde

Mom blogs seem to be “in” these days but just because a blog is written by a mom does not mean that you’ll get a lot of parenting content.  I love mom blogs that manage to combine parenting and general life in their entries.  They really make for a good read.  Perhaps one of the best that I have run into lately is The Daily Blonde.  From the tag line “Speaking my mind since 1963” alone, you’d know you’re in for something good.

This blonde writes about her children and their funny antics and her views in life - all with a hint of healthy sarcasm.  Pay The Daily Blonde a visit to hear what she has to say.

Monkey Barrel Musings

The ability to accept one’s self and most other things around you is something that not everyone can easily do.  I think this is quite true for the average person.  That is why I was drawn to the pages of Monkey Barrel Musings.  Here is a woman who gave up a “lucrative” career in engineering to become a stay at home mom and children’s book writer.  In the pages of this blog, you will find a wide variety of topics, from business practices and tips to motherhood to writing to physics.  There is a very interesting mix of topics in this blog!
