Bipolar Male

Mental health is one topic that many people feel uncomfortable with.  Perhaps it is due to some social expectations or maybe it is simple due to what is deemed the norm.  No matter what the reason for this subject being considered taboo by some, we cannot deny the fact that there are some mental health issues that we have to face.  Bipolar disorder is perhaps one of the most common issues that we are familiar – on the surface.  If you want to learn more about this condition, Bipolar Male is a good place to start.  It gives you an insight on what life is like from the perspective of an individual who has bipolar disorder.  A word of caution - some posts are quite explicit.

Butterfly On The East Side

I believe that every person needs his or her own way of letting go and discovering himself or herself.  I have found, like many others, that writing about one’s thoughts and experiences is a good way of doing so.  This is probably why personal blogs abound today.  Not only can you write down your thoughts but you can receive the input of others as well.  Butterfly on the East Side is the personal blog of a now-single woman who is on the road to self-discovery after drastic changes in her life.  It is definitely a blog for women although I do think that men would be able to gather a lot from the blog as well.

Pareidoliac

Blogging has indeed revolutionized the way we can access information.  Sometimes, I run across a blog that makes me wonder and re-think about certain things in this world – Pareidoliac is one of them.  I think that it is a personal blog, with the topics covering everything and anything under the sun.  Pareidoliac presents very interesting goings on around the world from a unique perspective.  I just wish that the About page could be found somewhere so I could see where the blogger is coming from.  Though I am not sure what the blog’s overall theme is, tt is an interesting read – that I am sure of.

The Peace Perspective

Nope, you are not watching a beauty pageant where the contestants answer “world peace.”  In fact, it’s a totally different kind of peace we are talking about here – Mark Peace Thomas, a DJ cum MC cum Wedding Consultant.  When I first saw his e-mail submitting his blog, my curiosity was stirred up by the blog name.  Was I in for a surprise when I actually browsed the blog!  The Peace Perspective is all about DJ Peace’s life – music, events, and family.  Quite an interesting read, actually.  Oh, and by the way, be prepared for tons of pictures – some of the people in there, you might recognize.
