Janice Sullivan’s Blog

You may be thinking, who the heck is Janice Sullivan and why would I want to pay her blog a visit? Why not, I ask you back. Janice Sullivan runs a photography business specializing in macro and close up photographs. While the blog is definitely an extension of her business, an effort to gain more exposure for it, it also brings readers a lot of information that can be used on a daily basis.

Janice Sullivan’s Blog is a good example of what a business’ blog should be like. It offers tips and tricks on how to take close up pictures – what her business is all about. It does not force the business on people but instead provides useful information that just might convert readers into customers. Looking for info on macro photography? Pay this blog a visit and treat your eyes to some nice photos while you’re at it.

Microstock Confidential

Do you love to take photos? I do but I kinda suck at it, to be honest. I get lucky every once in a while and manage to capture a really inspiring shot but more often than not, my photos come out flat.

For those of who are really into photography, however, I am sure that you will be interested in this blog called Microstock Confidential. It covers a lot of topics regarding photography but focuses a lot on microstock photography, as the name implies. If you are unsure as to what this is, you should go ahead and visit the blog. You might be in for a pleasant surprise as you discover this new world of cameras, photos, and the Internet all combined.

Brian McCord Photography

I have always envied the lives of those people that I see on TV or read about in magazines.  You know, the celebrity chefs, the travel photographers and journalists.  They seem to be living the life that I have always dreamt of!  Naturally, not everyone can have that kind of life but that does not mean that we cannot see the world through their eyes.  Take Brian McCord, a photographer.  He travels a couple of times a month on assignment and he shares his photographs in his blog, Brian McCord Photography. From wedding pictures to landscapes to popcorn and tea – you can feast your eyes and live vicariously through this blog.

Rock Portrait Photography

Photo blogs are always interesting, even more so when the photos that are presented are actually nice to look at.  And if you like rock music, rock bands, and traveling, then you would want to visit Rock Portrait Photography. The submission e-mail described the blog as the musings and opinions of a Melbourne-based photographer.  There are a lot of various topics tackled in the blog and of course, the best thing is that the posts are full of eye candy!  From technology to travel – you will get hooked on the posts, trust me.  Another thing, I didn’t have problems with load time despite the huge number of graphics.

Photography By Cristy

Sometimes, when I surf the web, all I want to do is enjoy looking at photos.  Don’t get me wrong – I love reading, I love getting my hands on all sorts of information.  Yet there are times when my brain needs some relief and I want my eyes to do all the “work.”  These are the times when I find myself thanking bloggers who focus on photo blogs.

We received a submission from a blog called Photography By Cristy recently and when I paid it a visit, I was not disappointed.  Cristy’s photos are mainly of nature – landscapes, animals, and plants.  It is fairly new, so I look forward to more additions in the near future.
