Being Alexus

Everyone has got something to say. However, not everyone can say it well. With the rise of personal blogs, more people have grabbed the opportunity to express themselves; and it is pleasantly surprising just how well some personal bloggers can share their thoughts!

Being Alexus is one of those personal blogs that engage the reader like anything else. From what I have read, the blogger likes to think AND get those thoughts “on paper.” From food (yum!) to politics (umm) to wine – readers can find these discussed in the pages of the blog. The posts are well-written, the topics well-chosen, and the images blend well with the text. For sure, readers will be inspired to throw in their two cents worth to complete the discussion.

Greece Blogger

One of my dream destinations is Greece. Excellent beaches, hunky guys, great food…oh wait, I shouldn’t be talking about this European country! Why? Because the blog I am featuring, while it has the same name, is actually about Greece, NY. If you’re not from their neck of the woods (which obviously I am not), you might be misled at first.

REBECCA JAFFARIAN: “THE REAL GREECE BLOGGER” is the full name of this blog, and you should be prepared to experience a no holds barred approach when you visit it. Learn all about Greece and everything that is happening there – politics to social activities, you got it. Anyone from Greece or the surrounding areas will find this blog a very useful way to keep a finger on the happenings in the town.

Earthly Happenings

Do you consider yourself a citizen of the earth? You know, one who lives not only to further himself but takes into consideration other people, other nations, and his surroundings in general. If you are the type of person who likes reading up on social issues and similar topics, then Earthly Happenings should be on your daily reading list.

This blog’s tagline, “discussing quality of life, social responsibility, equal rights, education, and environmental and economic sustainability” certainly lives up to its content. You can expect posts on politics, TV news, workplace issues, and other topics to be discussed. Of course, you can always join in in the discussion by leaving comments. It really is full of insights. Whether or not you agree with the blogger’s point of view is up to you.

Stalker

At first glance, you’d think that Stalker is a blog about some dark activity.  It is, however, about something totally unrelated.  This blog is about literature and politics.  In this day and age, these topics are among of the hottest there is.  What with everything that is going on in the world, people do not hesitate twice to talk about them.  And when it comes to discussion about literature, the French people are among the best.  And that is exactly what Stalker is about.  By the way, this blog is all in French so if you cannot read the language, you might want to use Google to translate the page.

The Vine

Discussions on politics and the economy can be read and heard everywhere.  This was especially true during the weeks preceding the US elections.  Now that the elections are over, have the issues and their discussions come to an end as well?  Of course not!

For thoughts on these topics which are sometimes liberal, sometimes conservative, The Vine is a good place to visit.  This is a blog of a self-confessed opinionated woman who has a lot to say about what is currently going on in her world – our world.  Her thoughts could very well be your thoughts and I am sure a lively discussion will ensue if you leave your own mark in her blog.
