Sports is one activity that brings people of all ages and races together.  Take the Olympics, for example.  Though it is rife with controversy right now, there is no doubt that this event has brought people together despite their differences.  All over the world, sports is part of the culture of different countries.  There are many sports web sites in existence.  Sometimes, though, I find myself yearning for something different, something refreshing.  I think that Sports Crackle Pop just might provide this.  A blog on everything sports AND more.  It relates sports to pop culture, providing an interesting twist.

Sailing is one of the most relaxing hobbies that one can engage in. I have never really done much of it but the feel of the ocean spray on your face together with the wind is just something that is hard to match. Just the thought of it makes me want to go out into the water once more. For those of us who do not have the time and money to go sailing a lot, perhaps the blog DIY Sailing would help whet our appetites. This blog has everything and anything to do with sailing that will surely make sailing enthusiasts happy.

Self-defense is one of the most important things that every individual can learn.  Not everyone is knowledgeable in this respect, though, but I do believe that it is never too late to learn – even if you’re talking about the basics only.  If you want to find out more about the different martial arts and self-defense techniques, one good blog to visit is Boxing-Fighting Center.  It is relatively new and there are not that many posts but the content is promising.  The person behind the blog has been practicing Taekwondo for quite some time and is eager to share knowledge to the rest of us.

RedSimba is Inboundpass.com’s co-founder/Editor-in-Chief/sportswriter Mike Abasolo’s personal blog. Inside it, he talks about where to be mooch free WiFi in Manila, the best broadband providers in the Philippines, where to find great food for much less, tips for other writers/bloggers, among other passions of his.

This writer finds it strange that his blog would contain only one post per page, but then that may well be a “to each his own” kind of thing.

If you are, if you plan to go to, or if you live in the Philippines, and you want to learn how to save more moolah or where the best value-for-money restos are, head on over to RedSimba’s lair now. :)

If you are into Martial Arts, then Stephen N. Matsuba’s A Kenshi’s Diary just might interest you.

A Kenshi’s Diary is all about Kendo. “Kendo, or ‘way of the sword,’ is the Japanese martial art of fencing. Kendo developed from traditional techniques of Japanese swordsmanship known as kenjutsu.” (Source)

A Kenshi’s Diary
is Stephen Matsuba’s adventures in Kendo. Mundane may it be to some, but to those who are into Martial Arts and would want to know more, this could prove to be a valuable resource.

It’s pretty simple, straightforward, and if you want info about Kendo straight-up, this could help you understand what a Kenshi does and what Kendo is all about, on a daily, mundane level.
