Web what? I asked the same question when I first looked at this blog. After reading through it for a bit, though, I came to the conclusion that Webkinz are plush toys – much like Beanie babies and the like. So what is Webkinz At A Bargain all about? Simply put – the world of Webkinz. I think that the site satisfies the inner child in all of us. If you are into plush toys and haven’t discovered Webkinz yet, then you might want to pay this blog a visit. If you are into Webkinz, then you would want to drop by. Now where can I get one…?

I had featured Talented Young People’s blog a few posts back, but since they had sent in two blogs to review, here’s my take on Talented Young People’s Blogger/blogspot.com blog.
Though the one they had on their domain looks cleaner and is easier on the eyes than this one, I actually like this one better than the blog on their own domain. Though they just used a generic Blogger template, this has better content than the one on the dedicated domain. For me, content is king. If the blog may look nicer and cleaner, that’s just an added bonus. If it has great content, like this one, I won’t mind it if it were hosted only on Blogger. But then, it’s just me. Either way, I believe in Talented Young People’s mission/vision to empower the youth, and I’m just cheering them on!

You’re young, smart, and talented, and you know you are out to take the world by storm.. As soon as you land a job or start a business, that is.
But as all of us who have had to start from square one needed people to mentor them, I’m sure you would want someone to take you under his or her wing, too.
The Talented Young People organisation was founded by Adam Sibley in 2006. The organisation formed www.talentedyoungpeople.com as a free interactive resource tool for young people aged between 13 and 24 years who have dreams to fulfil but need a helping hand on the way. The website is a one stop shop where young people can get advice, ideas, talk to experts, talk to other talented young people and promote themselves. The more someone gets involved with the website the more they get out.

Real Love. What is it exactly, and what would you do in order to have it?
A month and a day from now, it’ll be Valentine’s Day. Amidst all the flowers, candy, red, hearts, and all other things that are meant to be cherished in celebration of that thing called love, would you have any doubt as to what real love truly is?
If you do, then maybe this blog would point you in that direction. UA&P, in support of the “Real Love Revolution,” keeps this blog as a guidepost for the youth who might be raring to rush things in search of filling their love and belongingness needs.

Because it’s the end of the year and I’m feeling extra-blue, and I think I need a treat, the five blogs I’m featuring below will be blogs that I personally like. I will be doing this “Lorie’s Pick of the Week” thing every week from now on.
The top blog I’m featuring for this year-end stretch is my personal favorite, Kirbitz.
Kirby is a 19-year-old Nursing student from my side of the boondocks and I believe he may have been inspired by Whateverlife.com’s Ashley Qualls. But whichever, what we do know is that he is savvy… More →
