Of the countries in the East, Japan is perhaps one of the most sought after destinations. This is really not a surprise as the Japanese have made a name for themselves all around the world. From wonderful food (who can’t help but fall in love with sushi?) to an interesting culture (countless people are enamored with anime and manga, among other things) to cutting edge technology (PlayStation!) – Japan has certainly a lot to offer. No wonder that this country receives millions of visitors year in and year out.
When planning a trip to Japan, there is a myriad of resources available to you online. One of the best I have encountered so far is the Team JAPANiCAN Staff Blog. This is actually a companion blog to the main web site, JAPANiCAN. In the blog, you get to read first person accounts of tours, offers, and other interesting bits of information about Japan. Do not expect general information in this blog – you will only get to read about specific details about various things, activities, and regions.
The Team JAPANiCAN Staff Blog is a very well-written blog. Whether you already know a lot about Japan or you have no idea what to find there, you will definitely find this blog helpful. Not only can you read posts about the country and its culture, but you can also search for hotels and tours from within the blog. It is like a travel guide and booking site combined into one. The next time you need to look something up about Japan, this blog should be your first destination online.

Who wants free tickets? Who doesn’t? For every event you go to – musical, sporting, or theatrical – I am sure that you would not mind one bit if you had free tickets; or discounted ones for that matter.
Actually, one thing that I really like about the Internet is the fact that you can find all sorts of discounts and freebies online. And this is what Ticket Retails is all about. It does not actually give out these tickets or discounts, but it sure does give you a lot of information that can point you in the right direction. Even better, it is updated frequently and regularly, ensuring fresh info. Oh, and you get other topics thrown here and there as a plus. What are you waiting for?

Ever wonder how people manage to spend a lot of time traveling the world while at the same time live their daily life? Here is a blog that can give you a peek into the life of a man who does exactly that.
Mike Saunders hails from Wales and is currently studying to get his degree in Computer Science. When he is not in school, he travels to various destinations in Europe, Asia, and Australia. He shares his experiences in his blog through words and pictures. The blog can be considered a personal journal, in that it details events and happenings in the blogger’s life but at the same time, it deals a lot with his trips so it can serve as a mini-travel guide.

Photo blogs are always interesting, even more so when the photos that are presented are actually nice to look at. And if you like rock music, rock bands, and traveling, then you would want to visit Rock Portrait Photography. The submission e-mail described the blog as the musings and opinions of a Melbourne-based photographer. There are a lot of various topics tackled in the blog and of course, the best thing is that the posts are full of eye candy! From technology to travel – you will get hooked on the posts, trust me. Another thing, I didn’t have problems with load time despite the huge number of graphics.

The United States has a lot of cities to offer the discerning traveler. From the east coast to the west coast, there are treasures waiting to be discovered. Unfortunately, there are cities which are more popular than others. Still, just because a destination is not that popular, it does not mean that there is nothing to be found there.
In the east coast, one destination that deserves more attention than it is currently attracting is the city of Baltimore. My husband is from the same state so I guess I might be a bit biased but from what I have been hearing, it is a good place to visit as it has a little bit of everything. If you want to know more about this city, a good place to start would be Experience Baltimore. It has all the information that you would want to know about the place even before you head on out there.
