Traveling has become one of the most favorite past times of people from all over the world.  Technology and other developments in this industry has allowed for more affordable traveling and this has enticed more and more people to expand their horizons and visit places other than their own everyday habitat.  Planning a trip – especially to a strange place – can be quite a task sometimes, though.  If you need some tips and tricks on how to plan a pocket friendly trip, visit Hostel Traveler.  It is a relatively new blog but it does offer sensible and practical advice and information on traveling.

Education does not only happen within the classroom.  Indeed, many successful and fulfilled people will tell you what they know about life, they learned out there – not within the educational institution but through their own experiences.  One of the best ways to learn is to travel.  Unfortunately, traveling is not always possible for everyone.  So what’s the next best thing?  To read others’ experiences and view the sites through their photos.  Ministry of Mindful Thoughts is one blog that can give you a vicarious experience.  I have to warn you though, the pictures are of high quality and loading times may be a bit long – but it sure is worth the wait!

If you are into movies, you may find the latest Filipino breakout film, Ploning, something worth looking forward to.

Ploning stars Judy Ann Santos, fondly called “Juday” by the Filipinos. She not only stars in the film, she also produced it.

Ploning is a showcase of the Philippines’ beauty and Filipino talent. Not only is Miss Santos an award-winning actress, the movie also shows one of the most pristine and untouched parts of the Philippine Archipelago: Cuyo Island.

Among this group of islands, the world-renowned celebrity hideaway Amanpulo belongs. So you can imagine the quality of the beaches.

Ploning.com is the press release blog of the movie. For logos, news, and updates about the movie, for scoop and all other info, head on over to the Ploning.com blog now!

Going on an adventure has never been easier than today.  With tourism booming all over the world, most anyone could go almost anywhere.  For those who do not have the time or the resources to go on their own adventure trip, the next best thing is to experience it vicariously.  90 Days In Australia is the blog of 2 French students who are planning a 90-day trip to Australia.  From the birth of the idea to the planning to the actual trip, they plan on documenting the whole thing.  I like that they have both English and French blog sites – us non-French speaking people can also enjoy their trip!
