“When we cry, we need to ask – what exactly are we feeling” ~ Stuart Tan
If you’ve ever had a down moment in your life, or had to seek a counselor, here’s where you might just find one. I no longer offer paid counseling or psychotherapeutic services because I believe that people need to learn to take responsibility for their own lives. Sure, if there’s a need for help I’ll be there. And that’s what the blog is for.
The odd thing about Stuart’s Philosophies is that I don’t always write about life in and of itself. I’ve created a virtual world – “The Seventh City” to use as a metaphor for learning. It’s a never-complete storybook that a couple of my friends and I wanted to write but never really got around to doing fully. So, I shall use it as a therapeutic metaphor for my readers.
So far, life is nothing more than a tapestry of multiple emotions: confusions, fears, anger, hate, love, elation, discontentment… the list can go on. I look into my life and hope that it can be a mirror to yours. That perhaps my mistakes and feelings can to be your benefit.
Different behaviors are a result of different pre-conditioned experiences. We can have the power to change that and be better than who we have always pretended to be. Take a tweak in your life, head down to my fairly unconventional blog Stuart’s Philosophies.
