A Fine Movie Not To Be Missed
Went to see “The World’s Fastest Indian” today–what an excellent, uplifting, interesting, true, moving movie–Anthony Hopkins gives a consummate performance (as does Diane Ladd in a cameo–not to forget Chris Williams as a transvestite, with a warm heart, presented in a positive manner.)
It really took me by surprise–I had a vague idea of the man’s story–the underdog (from New Zealand) triumphs over his own eccentricity, and the odds, but it is way more than that–it really gives a pro picture of American people he meets along the way–no violence, a little hinted at sex–lots of laughs and many tears. Take the kids along to learn a lesson in perserverence
A very articulate movie. No choice but to pick up on the optimism
Here’s a man laughed at, and made fun of, but triumphs against all odds–and the records he set still stand today!.
You know where it is going to lead but the payoff is one of joy and disbelief
It shows the power of positive thinking without throwing it in your face.
Unfortunately it isn’t getting the publicity and/or the crowds it should :o(
GO SEE IT ON THE BIG SCREEN!
