Traveling is not just getting from point A to B. It’s about the things you see, the people you meet, and the experiences you encounter along the way. And that’s what Europe Trotter is about. It’s a blog about stories of one’s travails, rather than straightforward descriptions of the sights and places.
Since getting on with the rest of her life, Bettina has erratically wandered the world, cultivating her interest in long-distance land travel and performing miracles. The miracle is that she actually managed to finish her degree during this period, but not without a little trickery, a lot of correspondence study, and subjects that cry out for fieldwork, such as folklore and photography. Hence, Bettina is now working as an au pair, promoting vagrancy, creativity and imagination in future generations.
