Just several days ago, we celebrated Earth Day. All over the world and all over the blogosphere, people participated in activities to celebrate our planet, our home. I suppose that for some people, this is only normally done during special occasions (such as Earth Day). Personally, though, I think that attention should be given to this issue every single day – especially with what we are facing right now. That is why I thought I’d feature this blog, Green Base, which focuses on the “greening habits of the music industry.” I didn’t know there was such a movement but I am glad to have heard about this blog. Music enthusiasts, head on over to this blog and see what you can do!

The advent of MP3 players has totally changed the way we listen to music. There are many factors which contributed to the explosion of portable music players but I believe that the iPod is one of the major players in this event. Of course, despite the advanced technology employed for these gadgets, glitches still occur and one of the worst things that could happen is for a person to lose all his music. How to prepare against such an occurrence? Visit DDIMusic for the latest in music recovery software and never get caught without back up again. They also offer other similar products for the tech savvy.

Nope, you are not watching a beauty pageant where the contestants answer “world peace.” In fact, it’s a totally different kind of peace we are talking about here – Mark Peace Thomas, a DJ cum MC cum Wedding Consultant. When I first saw his e-mail submitting his blog, my curiosity was stirred up by the blog name. Was I in for a surprise when I actually browsed the blog! The Peace Perspective is all about DJ Peace’s life – music, events, and family. Quite an interesting read, actually. Oh, and by the way, be prepared for tons of pictures – some of the people in there, you might recognize.

If you know what NKOTB means and the sight of the acronym makes your blood pump and brings you back down memory lane, then you should pay Kickin’ It Old School a visit. A blog about popular culture – from a couple of decades back to the present - Kickin’ It Old School is chock-full of nostalgic posts about the music and movies (and more) of the recent past. Pop culture may not be considered tasteful in some circles but I am sure that a lot of people would be able to relate – either publicly or in secret – to the juicy bits and pieces offered in this blog.
